I was on campus today and thought I’d snap a few pictures of the banners honoring Frank Beamer’s 25 years as head coach of our beloved Virginia Tech Hokies. A lot of you weren’t even born when Beamer took over. I arrived at Tech as Frank started his eighth season. He was nearly fired the year before (1992) when they went 2-8-1. My freshman year, 1993, marked the beginning of an 18-year streak of winning seasons and bowl game appearances.
